Useful teapot!

My GP is fab! She phoned us well after 6pm, which for me means she is working overtime. In addition to working with her on pain management, which is sensible but is only a holding position, she is arranging for a referral for a private appointment with a gastroenterologist to consider the position.

This is likely to be in a few days’ time. Of course we have various ethical issues about resorting to private healthcare, but waiting many more weeks for a further appointment is beyond what we can bear right now.

Anyway, I’m to go to the GP surgery for another puncturing tomorrow, just in case the blood taken today was not to test for coeliac disease. Then I will see the GP next Monday to discuss results, private care etc. Watch this space!
