We had hoped to visit the Justizpalast but ended up going to Oberlaa.
- I think we took tram D to the city centre, then limped to the Justizpalast.
- It only takes 25 visitors per hour, and we would have to wait at least an hour to get in, so decided to go to the end of the end of the U1 to Oberlaa, just to see what’s there.
- We walked to Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof so I could buy tobacco. (It turned out dry and yucky so I threw it away as soon as I’d replaced it the next day.)
- tram D to Berggasse
- eat at Plain
- walk back to Roßauer Lände

Their struggle for a free and independent Austria remains unforgettable.’
