A visit to Krems and its university – so happy this day went well despite the rail-replacement bus services. The sad aspect was that Elly had to stay back at the flat, working.

- smooth transfer to rail-replacement bus to Krems an der Donau Bahnhof – well done ÖBB!
- bus to Universität für Weiterbildung Krems
- highly enjoyable meeting and lunch with researchers – I think there is plenty that I/Napier and they could do together
- walk to the nearby Karikaturmuseum – well worth a visit
- walk back to the Universität
- bus back to Bahnhof – this time free
- back to Roßauer Lände the way I came
