Ian and Jane arrived in Vienna after overnight travels.

Journey 1

• U4 to Karlsplatz, U1 to Hauptbahnhof
• U1 to Nestroyplatz, so Ian and Jane could check into their hotel
• U1 to Donauinsel
• wander about Donauinsel
• U1 to Vorgartenstrasse – can’t find a public toilet
• U1 to Praterstern – still can’t find a toilet, despite this being a major interchange
• Attempt to take U1 on to Schwedenplatz, where I know the toilet location but find myself going back to Vorgartenstrasse
• U1 back to Schwedenplatz and relief.
• U4 back to Roßauer Lände
• MILCOP meeting

Journey 2

• U4 to Schwedenplatz, U1 to Nestroyplatz
• Dinner at Fischerie
• U1 and U4 home
